Kerrie, nanny in Boston

A little about me:
I am a single, 32 year old female, who is highly educated, well traveled, over a decade of experience with children- both in private and public sectors- where I have provided a safe and loving environment for children to learn and grow in.

(My background to get a brief sense of where I came from and how that shapes me)
I was bread born and raised in London, then moved to Ireland at age 9, then onto Boston, Massachusetts at age 13. I went to college in Hawaii, Barcelona and Australia. Shortly after college I traveled to Kenya, Africa to volunteer in an orphanage teaching and living amongst the beautiful children. Later I spent half a year living in south east Asia where I also taught in an orphanage in Fang Valley, Burma. Then spent a few months in Peru volunteering and teaching elementary students in Lima. A few years later I volunteered in Reshikesh, India in a small orphanage and volunteered throughout the small community there. Then I came back to Boston and focused on my career as a childcare provider (both in the public and private sectors)
Needless to say, caring for children, teaching, traveling, volunteering, learning new cultures, experiencing new things, and enjoying the wonderful gifts of life are my greatest passions !

I hold a Masters degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Bachelors degree in Education, Sociology and Psychology. After receiving my Bachelors in Education I was as a head preschool teacher, then while receiving my Masters I was a second grade teachers assistant. Later to transition into providing in home private childcare educator as a professional nanny/house manager- which I have exclusively done for the past 7+years with all ages, and an array of families. I also went onto become a newborn specialist for new born babies, and provided in home services for the transitional period of hospital life to home life for the beginnings months of infancy.
Being a professional nanny, child care provider/educator and daily burst of fun, love and excitement for children is my calling in life, and I absolutely love every minute of it!
