My 2 and 1/2 year old is in a daycare and she does well there, However, she frequently gets sick. Under normal circumstance it would be good for her to build up her immune system, but she is prone to febrile seizures, which they grow out of by 4 or 5. Better to wait until kindergarten until she can better handle all the exposure to illness. The only special requirement is checking her temperature a few times a day. She is a good eater and good sleeper (2 hour naps) and loves to socialize and loves to learn.
