My name is Yvette and I absolutely love caring for children! They are so full of amazing energy and such a joy to be around. I also enjoy watching children grow and learn, helping them as they grow and face new challenges in school and life in general. I graduated from UCSB BA in Psychology minors in applied psychology and education. I am currently in the Master's of Social Work three year Program at San Diego State. I go to school from 12:30 to 7pm on tuesdays. I am CPR & First Aid certified. I have experience working with children for 3 years as a babysitter, daycare specialist and behavioral therapist. I have worked with five month olds to 12 year olds. I enjoy doing active activities with children like hide and seek, volleyball, imagination play. I also enjoy helping them develop skills like reading, eating with a spoon and fork, simple sign language words like help, more, break etc. I like to learn what the children preferences are with toys, food, and outdoor activities so I can implement these rewards throughout my time with them. I like for the children to have a fun and memorable experience when I work with them.
