Theresa, nanny in Philadelphia

Hello Parents!
My name is Theresa, I'm a mature 20 year old with some college being my highest education. I'm currently seeking a full time or two part time positions as a nanny/babysitter for young children. On my spare time I take pleasure in reading, cooking different dishes, and listening to music. I've always wanted to have a family, with my own little one. Until I am blessed with my own child I take pleasure in helping other moms with their bundles of joys! I was raised by a single mother. I am the oldest of 6 siblings and helped take care of them all. In addition, I have a lot of experience with children of all ages. My interest in a career in childcare began when I was just 10 years old but, it grew four years later when my cousin was born. After the experience of personally help raise my cousin with autism, I knew that I had a deeper passion for children than I had ever imagined. I honestly enjoy helping children grow healthy, bright, and teach them life morals as they sprout. Because of that I've gained years of paid experience caring for infants and toddlers especially. I started as a tutor, then babysitting /nannying for family and friends and those that I was referred to. I also obtained a position at a daycare facility as a teacher aid, there I focused on child development. Watching more than one child at a time is not an issue for me, seeing as though I’ve obtained positions caring for more than one child at a time. My most recent position as a nanny included caring for 6 children, but only two full time. The kids were 8 months-12 years old. I very much encourage children to read, be crafty and stay active as much as possible. I am extremely comfortable with pets and light cleaning, considering I am a animal lover and keep a clean home of my own. I take pride in my ability to learn from every experience, adapt to different environments, and giving everything I do the most effort that I can! I can guarantee my first priority will be your child's well being. I am certified in CPR/First Aid/AED for infants, kids, and adults, Age-Appropriate Nutrition, Feeding, and Support for Breastfeeding, Healthy Eaters: Infant and Toddler Nutrition in Child Care Settings.
