My name is Melissa. I am from Medford, MA, I have a bachelors degree in Child Psychology. I am the oldest of 14 grandchildren. I started to babysit was I was 13 years old. I got my babysitting certificate and first aid when I was 13 years old. I always had a passion for caring for and teaching children. When I was younger my cousin was diagnosed with autism. When I found out I made up games and songs to help him overcome and grow from it. He is now 13 years old and can talk and soicalize with peers his own age. When I got older I became a nanny for many families around Boston and outside of Boston. I have cared for all ages from newborn to teenagers. I currently am a teacher working with children with Autism, but I'm looking to get back into nannying. I enjoy bringing children to libraries, museums, and educational places to explore outside of the classroom. Hoping I can find a family that will be long term.
