Hi there!
Our family is looking for a loving, experienced nanny for our baby girl. The slotted start date would be middle of November and we are seeking someone who is able to help us out full-time (ideally 7:30am to 6:00pm) at our house. We are most definitely open to finding another family for a nanny-share too!
Major Responsibilities
• Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment
• Supervise activities at all times
• Plan and prepare meals/bottles
• Place her down for naptimes and occasionally for bedtime
• Change diapers/manage bath time
• Perform housework related to child care, including washing her clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing/sterilizing bottles
• Plan and lead age-appropriate educational activities (ex: reading)
• Hosting and/or attending play groups
• Implementing and/or maintain a regular routine
• Disciplining when appropriate in a manner consistent with our parenting philosophy
• Modeling and teaching good manners
• Administer medications (if ever needed)
• Serve as a trusted companion/caretaker
Job Qualifications and Requirements
• High school graduate
• Experience caring for children
• Training in early childhood education preferred
• First aid training and child and infant CPR
• Car, driver’s license, auto insurance, and safe driving history
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• English proficiency
• Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
• Physical ability to care for a young child
• Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision
