Jacqualyn, foreign au pair in Greenville

Hello future family! I am currently an art student in the united states excited to have graduated with a bachelors in December 2014. The past year I have studied abroad in the Netherlands and greatly enjoyed the experience. While on study abroad I often babysat for a local Dutch couple and found it to be one of the most culturally educational parts of my exchange. Because my brother was living in Paris while I was on exchange I visited him often and really enjoyed all that the city had to offer culturally as well as the personalities of the French friends I have made.
I study graphic design, photography and art history as my priority in school and I also have a minor in journalism. I am currently taking my third course in french.
In the past I have been a nanny consistently for over a year for a 5 year old here in the united states, I had the responsibility of picking him up from school in my car, making him meals, working together on homework and of course playing lots of fun creative games! I had lots of fun with this child and became very close with him and his family.
In the Netherlands the child I took care of from time to time was a little over one year old and I had much of the same responsibilities (minus the homework of course!) and like I said this experience is what has inspired me to pursue going abroad again to be a caregiver. I have also babysat off and on since I was about 14. I have taken care of all ages and genders from infants to 14 year olds.
I love anything fun and creative, I am active and enjoy cooking. I hope to find an openminded and kind family to join in France. Thank you for taking the time to read about me and I hope to hear from you soon!
