Below is a little about myself, hopefully that will answer most initial questions about my commitment to finding a position as a Nanny in Paris.
I began babysitting as a teenager during the summers. During my first full time position as a Nanny, I was also available for other Mothers or families in need of help when regular child care was closed, child was ill, house/child/pet care during vacations or weekends. I relocated for this position and was a full time live in Au Pair/Nanny. I met with teachers and asked for their input on the best use of my time with my primary charge. We visited museums, parks, beaches, libraries, zoo, music performances, volunteered, read aloud, discussed history - following the advice of teachers. I have a strong background in art history, love to cook, have excellent etiquette, which I try to impose on the children.
References, which can be provided, highlight my work for the last 14 years working for a Forbes 500 Company as an Operations and Production Planner for a Custom Technology laboratory. What this means is I am organized, plan ahead, responsible and used to a constantly changing environment, am very flexible and sensitive to timelines and scheduling. All of which make me an ever better Nanny!
Last year, when my Mother was diagnosed with cancer, I was her Live In/Primary Caregiver until we lost her unexpectedly in May. Between my Mother’s illness and my Father before her, I have spent a lot of time in hospitals, nursing homes and doctor’s offices. (I also worked in a medical clinic for 2+ years managing the office for a busy physician) My Mother’s doctors joked that they wanted to hire me to work as their Personal Assistants, when they saw how organized I was with her care and managing her treatment plan.
References can be provided for both work at biotechnology company and family employers on request.
Details: I am 47, no children, never married, have been traveling on and off to Paris since I was in college in London at age 20. I am not caught up in the romance of Paris after a few days there ; ) I just returned from spending the month of August in Paris and am now looking into moving out of my apartment and getting a visa to return as soon as possible.
My happiest time is when I am working as a Nanny, going home knowing I had a productive, fun interactive day with the children, and did my best to provide as much assistance to the Mother and the family as possible. It’s nice to end a day or work with a smile and a good feeling of accomplishment. I am happiest working as a Nanny, and when I am in Paris. When I secure a position with the right family there, it will be a dream come true for me. My life is in a place where I can make the move now and start a life for myself doing what makes me happy.
I am seeking a family or parent with children of any age who need assistance. Am open to live in or out situations, depending of course on the details.
Thank you.

Have worked as a Nanny full and part time for 20+ years (I am 47) Have a strong background in Art History, Etiquette, have traveled to France on and off since college at age 20. Can provide excellent references both current and from first full time position as a Nanny. Am often called "Mary Poppins"
Am open to helping with anything that will assist the children and the family as needed. Mature, responsible, make the time with children educational and fun. I feel happiest when I am with children, the days are productive and I love the feeling of knowing I really helped the family, it is a good sense of accomplishment. And, most importantly, since I am of a mature age, I am not playing Pokemon, texting with my boyfriend, plugged into headphones. I am in the moment and my full attention is on the children and my tasks. Thank you ; )
