My name is Haylee , I am 17 years old and I am looking to be a part time, but consistent babysitter with children of any age. I've watched kids my whole life, including my own four younger brothers, five my cousins, my neighbours three children, and at school in grade seven I was the school lunch monitor for the grade two class. I've loved working with kids because of the fun I have with them, and the way it makes me feel when I teach them something new and they are so proud of them self for learning something that they do it over and over again and show everybody their new skill. I am able to work with multiple children at a time as I have babysit all four of my brothers together, my three neighbours together, and a whole class of seven year olds. I am able to help your children with their homework, from kindergarten to grade eleven, I was an honour student all through high school. I am a "exceptional cook", I admit I can't make a turkey thanksgiving dinner but I can make simple things like potatoes, kraft dinner, frozen pizza, hot dogs, things like that. I love to read children stories, and listen to them read stories to me. I love to go outside and get active. I am quite mature for my age, and can help with more than just the average duties a babysitter does. If your children are distressed, I have no problem with sitting down with them and talking to them and try to help them to the best of my ability. I have done a course through FACS where I was a councillor for children. I also have basic first aid and basic CPR training and have all emergency contact numbers (police, fire, ambulance, poison control, etc..) saved on my phone so in any emergency situation I would be able to call for help without needing to get a hold of you for assistance. (crossing my fingers that an emergency situation ever occurs, but as a child I know I've drank bleach.. so things do happen). To help avoid emergency situations, if your children have any allergies, mental health, anything of that sort please let me know before my first time watching your children so that I am aware and prepared.

I have no set rate that I want, because it all depends on the expectations and things that need to be done while I am watching your child. If you're just running out of the house for a few hours in the afternoon to run errands and the children just need to be supervised then I would not be expecting to be paid much, but if I'm needed to be there for say an 8 hour shift while you're at work, and the kids need to be entertained throughout the day, need lunch/dinner prepared for them, and get them ready for bed as well as put them to sleep then the rate I would charge would be a little higher.
